"If you are driving in Italy this is the best place to stay. Easy in and out with on site parking, zero stress! Easy walk into the heart of Siena. The staff were wonderful and the rooms clean."
"Muy lindo hotel, bien mantenido, con excelente ubicación en la plaza principal de San Giminiano. Dejamos el auto estacionado en un parking a unos 400 metros e ingresamos caminando, ya que es zona de tráfico limitado. Desayuno muy rico y casero. Soy celíaca y me ofrecieron variedad de panes y budines sin gluten."
"Hotel and room are good for one or two nice day. Balcony room had a nice view..
My only negative and caution is regarding the on-site restaurant. Although, in it by itself, it could be considered a decent restaurant, but considering all the really excellent restaurants around it’s quite subpar for this town. With a group of 11 persons that have been traveling in Italy for a week the l general consensus was that the restaurant was OK, but nothing memorable or exceptional. And that situations...
"Excellent location and standard staff—they stuck strictly to the rules and weren't very communicative. The room layout was impractical—the bathroom was on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor, which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was fine. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Siena.."
"This place was just okay. They will tell you there is air conditioning and trust me, there isn't. They told us it comes up through the floor, and they described it as radiant cooling, but it isn't as there are no condensers on the property. They put a fan in the room which made it bearable. If you're going in the Summer or any time of the year where it's 80 & above, I would not recommend this place. All the other places we stayed had ac units that worked great. Cleanliness was okay. There were...
"Martina was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel facilities and breakfast were amazing. The property is located just a few minutes from the town of San Gimignano, making it a perfect base for exploring the area."
"Très belle expérience dans ce camping. Je voyageais sans voiture et il y a un bus qui passe régulièrement ! Grand avantage pour un camping. Accès à une piscine municipale gratuitement. Logement propre et calme."
"Lorenzo and Giacomo were the perfect hosts! We arrived on foot from the Siena train station at their beautiful oasis just outside the city walls, and were grateful to spend 4 nights in September 2026. Many people who stay here seem to have cars as they offer great parking just outside of Siena which has traffic limited zones. Palazzo di Valli was our home base to explore Tuscany. Highlights included visiting San Gimignano, hiking sections of the Via Francigena, and learning about Italian wines...
