"Mixed review as the location of the hotel is excellent with the beach nearby and beautiful views of Isola Bella. The swimming pool was also nice and very much appreciated. However the hotel is very dated and in dire need of upgrades in many areas. Lowest quality beds, sheets, and pillows. Tiny showet and thin, rough, bath towels, etc.
Some of the the daytime staff were very helpful and friendly, however the night manager was rude and unhelpful
Only recommended if you want a low budget hotel...
"Extremely cordial staff, ready to help at any time. Very comfortable room and bed. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had any where, the variety, the quality, the taste, all top notch. If my travels take me to Taormina again, I will stay at Hotel Condor."
"Hôtel un peu vieillissant, chambre avec intérieur, un peu démodée mais le personnel il est très gentil et les petits déjeuners y sont bons.
L’emplacement est très très bien."
"The staff are first rate. The view from the restaurant is out of this world. The only negative is parking near the hotel is almost impossible. They offer a €25 valet service, which I took advantage of."
"Lovely, quirky small hotel right in the middle of the old town. Management & staff very nice. Breakfast buffet with a good range of options. Tea & coffee in room."
"Excellent location in Taormina at the start of Corso Umberto. Easy walking distance to all the sights in Taormina. Great sized room and really friendly staff.
They provided an amazing breakfast in a room that had a beautiful view, absolute perfection. Would recommend this accommodation and it's a very reasonable price for Taormina."
