"Great setting of the hotel, upon arrival we were given an upgrade of our room. Nice and very large on the ground floor. A somewhat dated room but nevertheless clean and lovely. Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices...

"The staff were very helpful. I had a problem with the battery on my electric bike and could not remove it to charge it in my room. The lady on reception allowed me to charge the bike on the ground floor ensuring that I had a full vharge for the following day's cycling. Restaurant was very good."

Good hotel, good walking.

Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices for dinner and is a nice place to walk around. Overall the hotel was a very good choice. Breakfast was a nice affair."
