"We booked the "Romantic Suite" through Expedia, only to discover that the room was completely windowless. Although the listing described it as being below ground level, it did not disclose that there were no windows whatsoever. In fact, the description mentioned "blackout drapes", which rather suggests that windows exist! What makes this particularly disappointing is that Expedia's listings in other countries apparently disclosed that the room was windowless, whereas the UK listing did...

"Within a short walk from the Colmar train station. Rooms small but clean. AC worked nicely and can adjust. Nice hot water in the shower. Breakfast very nice selection. Can walk to the beautiful city center. Enjoyed our stay very much."

"Stuff was very helpful. Room was clean and basic. Bed was comfortable and firm. There is an elevator, but every floor has a interesting two to three steps down within the same floor to get to my room. So be aware of that. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the train station and the sites. Please be aware that it is right by the train tracks. So it gets loud, if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Even with the window closed you can still hear the trains go by. It's no problem for me since...
