"It was a handy campanile but we discovered when we got there that is was about to be refurbished. So there was no tea or coffee in the room and fittings were a bit tired. Nonetheless the staff were so kind and helpful so provided us with plenty of tea and coffee."

"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

The breakfast, not elegant, but quite generous and more than enough to fuel me for the day. Being right across the street from the train station is a real advantage. "This hotel is for you if you want a rustic experience in the middle of the mountains on a very winding, steep and narrow road. I had a business meeting in the nearby town of Cours and thought that this little hotel would be a good place for the night before. "Expensive. Our superior room was on two levels which meant we would have had to go down stairs in the dark for the loo. So we opted for another room with a shower over the bath. The shower head had to be hand held as the bracket attaching it to the vertical rail was loose and so the shower slipped down. The bed was hard.
