"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."

"Parking was full so had to leave on the road with lots of wedding bits inside. Hotel ok but tired. Room basic. No water or tea facility. Restaurant overpriced and under whelming. I had a local dish. Local Sausage and mash. Basic sausage and mash tasted like smash. Dried potatoes. Felt a bit money grabbing. "

"Absolutely amazing experience, close to the lake, excellent restaurant , beautiful caravan park with all facilities, close to the town and just an amazing lake view from mobile home. Definitely back again."

"A really lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Check in time a little restricted as we didn’t really have time to make use of the lovely looking pool before dinner which was also quite strict with timings, I do totally understand why though as the dinner was fabulous!"
