"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . Staff didn’t even care when I told them I had a terrible stay upon check out. They just smiled. When paying 300 Euros...

"Very impressed with the service, the staff and the ambience of the hotel. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Room was comfortable, spacious and warm. Bar/breakfast area is lovely. The restaurant is closed at weekends which was disappointing so we bought pizzas from the take away machine next door and sat in the hotel's social area with a few beers! "The location was excellent, close to the town, beaches and also D-Day sites. Checking in to the apartment was OK and the accommodation was fine, however the bathroom design was poor, it was very difficult for anyone over 170cm to use the shower as it was in the eves. The toilet was downstairs but did not have a basin to wash hands. It would have been a better design to have a wet room where the toilet was and put the toilet in the bathroom. "We had a little difficulty in finding the property but Google Maps did the trick ! Once we arrived, the reception by the owner was excellent and the property clean, well-equipped and like new. The views across the valley were suberb and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. In the morning, we were brought breakfast exactly on time and it was comprehensive and more than we could eat. The location is perfect for the last night before catching the ferry from Lehavre or Dieppe or exploring...
