"We had a great time at this property. It is a lovely old building with beautiful inner courtyards and an excellent restaurant. There is an outdoor pool which my husband took advantage of and the hotel is located next to a spa. Unfortunately the spa is closed at the moment for renovations with no date given for reopening. "Location of the property in a forest and its setting is good. The room was spacious and well fitted out - it had been refurbished since we last stayed in it. We were made very welcome. Our only comment would be the menu was a bit limited. "

"A magical setting and very quiet place. We stopped here on the way from Le Bugue in the Dordogne to Paris. However, it was a bit basic! We were staying in a cottage next to the mill which was 1970s concrete and furnished very basically. I have seen more luxurious student accommodation. The dinner was ambitious but truly awful. "The hotel and restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We ate dinner and breakfast and thought it was great. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. The room was clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but well taken care of. Very pleasant stay. "
