"I booked and paid for a King room with a balcony several months before our trip. When we arrived we put a room with a sort of balcony, closed in with the diners from the Cafe next door (which they owned) less inches from our room. There was absolutely no privacy whatsoever. When I initially complained I was told the Cafe shuts at 7pm so there will be no one there after that . To make things worse my card was charged for the room a second time on check in. Once we were settled I found the...
"The place was good and relaxing but it is away from town. No activities in hotel. Good if you want to relax before or after machu pichu. Room is clean and has good views. Breakfast was nice"
"Super clean! Food was amazing especially the lunch experience! It was right by the train station to Machu Picchu the train whistles started at 4am but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed it! There’s a Montessori school on the farm property! They welcome worldschoolers and travelers with kids up to 6th grade! Contact the school on the property my son enjoyed spending some time with the kids! Best experience ever!"
"O melhor hotel que fiquei em toda minha viagem pelo Peru. Me surpreendeu e muito. Cama maravilhosa, vista maravilhosa, boa localização, chuveiro maravilhoso. Atendimento ótimo"
"This place is ok for a short stay. The walls are very thin so you can hear noise throughout the building, including people showering next door, and when breakfast is started in the morning. The staff do try to keep noise to a minimum. The room is very basic and so is breakfast."
"Glad we started our Machu Picchu trip with a stay here. Staff was very welcoming, Room and amenities were great. Breakfast and restaurant food was great and even alpacas were great."
"Great location just far enough from the main square, quiet and peaceful! Wonderful host. Our time is this beautiful city will always be remembered we hope to come back eventually!"
"Views are great. The room was really nice. One of the nicest places we stayed at. The hot water is available but not all the time and not for a long time. You are in the mountains so... It's a 10 -15 min walk to the center. The area is really quite and calm. Coca tea is available. The altitude is really bad so prepare to be out of breath for no reason. Only negative was that breakfast was not impressive. If you come from a culture that eats well then just go into town. Overall a really great...
"We loved this property. A very unique experience star gazing and sleeping at 3,000 m. The dining room and food and friendly family service were excellent. The Puma room was nicely themed with spectacular panoramic mountain view. Worth it and highly recommended. The hotel taxi pick up from train station, drive up and down was narrow and steep but the drivers there know what they’re doing so we weren’t worried."
"A cute little property. The owner Gregoria was the sweetest lady ever. My fiancé had gotten sick and Gregoria treated her as if she were her own child. We will never forget our stay at Piedra Blanca or Gregoria and are very fortunate to have met her"
