"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."

"We (a couple from US) had an excellent stay at this mountain lodge in Sedrun. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Dinner was well prepared, and the restaurant staff were warm and attentive. The hosts made the experience stand out. They were friendly, welcoming, and took time to share helpful information about the area, which made planning our days easy. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations. Fresh, well stocked, and a great way to start a ski day. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The view from the bedroom was incredible. Waking up to those mountain views alone made the stay worth it. The location works perfectly. There is a bus stop right outside the door that takes you straight to the ski lift. The train station is about a 4 minute walk and connects you to multiple mountains and towns, so you can explore the entire region without hassle. This is a great base if you want access to everything while staying in a peaceful setting with pristine views. We felt at home the entire time and will absolutely be coming back."
