"Hotel management was aware that there is an annual outdoor theatrical performance directly adjacent to the hotel that runs from 22:00-00:30 for a number of days. It was so incredibly loud. Hotel management should have notified guests ahead of time and at least provided earplugs. I had a long day of travel and an early morning appointment. When I called that hotel staff that night and spoke with them the following morning at checkout they made me feel like the problem. That’s not hospitality!...

"Hotel staff very pleasant. The problem is, they have a restaurant and customers were still loudly having a good night out at 1 o'clock. It was saturday though. The room was nice but the saloon doors on the ensuite didn't close, so no privacy. Ensuite was old and a bit grimy. Shower had bits of mould. There was complimentary shower gel and soap. They have a swimming pool in the garden behind which looked inviting. We only stopped one night and wouldn't go again."

"Hotel run by same family for many generations – currently 5th,6th and 7th generation working there. Take a pride in their hotel and have a genuine concern to offer good customer service – accommodated our motorbike in their own garden. We paid a few extra euros for a superior room. It was bright, fresh, had comfortable bed and even had kettle and tea / coffee – very unusual for French hotel. We had a very good 3 course meal for 18 euros. Would definitely stay here again if in area."

Hotel management should have notified guests ahead of time and at least provided earplugs. I had a long day of travel and an early morning appointment. When I called that hotel staff that night and spoke with them the following morning at checkout they made me feel like the problem. That’s not hospitality! They could have offered a change of room, a free breakfast, a late checkout, a partial refund, but no, I was told to call the police and that no one else complained. The quality of staff matters in hospitality. Someone should take a star away from this hotel."
