"Liked parking. Disliked everything else. We booked Roosevelt but it looked closed. By accident we found it was now an annex of a hotel up the road. Whole thing was a shambles. We only stayed as we had been soaked by the weather"

"This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."

"Excellent location. Easy to walk into town and attractions Lots of restaurants/ bars locally ( within easy walking distance) Good breakfast. Didn’t eat anything else in the hotel. Good variety of drinks in the bar. Lovely veranda overlooking the river you can use until 10 pm at the bar. Would be perfect if tea/ coffee facilities were available in the room. although you can buy these in the bar. "

"Absolutely fantastic value for money. This is a £300 plus room per night. Lovely staff, beautiful location, property with great food and drinks. The rooms were like new and the standard of decor is top draw. This was a complete and very pleasant surprise at the end of a mini euro tour. "

"La chambre qui m'a été attribuée donnait sur une route très passante (véhicules), donc beaucoup de bruit, tard le soir et tôt le matin. Pas de restauration le dimanche soir contrairement à ce qui m'avait été annoncé et même garantie (par courriel) sous la forme d'une réservation d'une table! Le service du petit-déjeuner est, à ma convenance, servi tardivement pour ceux qui sont en séjour professionnel."

"The hotel room was amazing, I would absolutely recommend it. The only minor niggle was that there was no lock or indeed catch on the bathroom door. Obviously not a problem for couples, but more difficult for families or friends. However, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel in my life. "I was not expecting to stay in a side building made of bedrooms. It did not feel like a hotel at all. Just a bedroom in a building. When l asked why not staying in the small hotel building, the answer was l don’t have a choice or preference.????"
