"This hotel dates back to 1870, and while the history is evident, it is definitely showing its age. Our room was small, though adequate for our needs. However, the cleanliness was a bit disappointing-the lobby sofa was stained, and the guest room doors were noticeably dirty. There is also a very strong, rose-like floral scent throughout the lobby and rooms which might be overwhelming if you are sensitive to smells.
