"We had a wonderfull restful few days here. Rachael and her family were very kind and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure their guests were comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend a stay here to unwind and relax. The hotel is a little bit 'out of the way' so having a car would have made eating out and exploring the area a little easier but we managed fine with taxis which were cheap and readily available.."

There’s also a small kitchen on the first floor, which was fab for grabbing plates, glasses and cutlery so you can enjoy a little picnic up on the rooftop terrace. They even provide fresh towels for the pool, which was a lovely touch. ❤️"

"This is a really well-run guest house. Our room, Room 7, was small but perfect for our stay. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good - my partner especially enjoyed the home-made orange cake! Will be visiting the area again and will stay here if we can."

"One of the most delightful surprises I’ve encountered on my trip. This 300 year old Solar is magnificent and its owners and family have passed it down for over 8 generations. While the town itself has very little going on (I’m hiking so it would be hard to find a place to eat) the owners made me a wonderful plate of cheese, ham, homemade jam, bread and a glass of wine. Might be one of the best experiences diuring my travels and the proprietor was simply delightful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around. "
