"I had stayed here previously a few years ago and was surprised to find how run down this hotel was. The layout of reception etc… had changed now requiring going up and down lots of stairs. Our beds had seen better days. The paint was peeling off our bathroom door and the television unit. The shower was freezing and shot water all over the bathroom floor. "The staff here are amazing and more than make up for the basic amenities. As a wheelchair user, rooms are on the small side. On the negative side, because this is an economy hotel, you literally get all kinds staying (including an idiot who pulled a fire alarm at 3am and another who was smoking pot in their room), but the staff were quick to address issues.
