"Lovely pool & outside area. Plenty of sunbeds, staff/lifeguards on duty.
Lots of free parking. Standard continental breakfast but plentiful.
Rooms big & comfortable beds.
Not that near shops/restaurants.
Car needed to get around. 20 mins walk down a track road (pitch black at night) to nearest restaurant.
Couldn't get taxi back late at night.
Onside restaurant menu not much choice or food not to our taste (for our daughter especially)

"Struttura non adatta per una vacanza, tanto è vero che lavora solo con operai, cibo da mensa, noi avevamo la mezza pensione ma la domenica non c’era, senza che nessuno ce lo avesse detto, posto vicino al mare in due settimane non c’è mai stata una portata di pesce.
Tutte queste cose non si sapevano al momento della prenotazione.

nous avons occupé une gigantesque chambre familiale sous les toits avec 1 grand lit double et 2 lits simples. la climatisation peut etre un peu sous dimensionnée en cas de fortes...
"This was a beautiful and peaceful hotel with the most amazing view of Mt Etna. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to assist us in all our needs. We had all our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel restaurant, and they were excellent. We only wish the pool had longer opening hours, as we were not able to use it while we were out touring during the day."

The host would not let us check-in until 3pm, which I understand is the check-in time, but everywhere else in Sicily they allowed for a check-in at least an hour early, if not a few hours earlier.
