"I decided to choose Port Aloha as my 3 night stay in Port Macquarie. I based my decision on its room prices and its location to eateries and other town facilities. People might not like the actual motel location as its not close to the jetty or beach locales. Plus its up a hill, but i didnt mind the walk.
The motel itself does show its age, compared to other hotels built in the last 5 to 10 yrs. The room itself was clean & tidy, has a functional kitchenette with a sink, microwave, toaster....
"The room was uncomfortably bright throughout the night, as the blackout curtains at the front were ineffective and there were no curtains on the rear windows. The bed also slid across the floor whenever weight was applied, making it unstable. The shower was positioned over the spa bath, making it difficult to shower comfortably and creating a safety hazard, particularly for elderly guests. These issues significantly affected the comfort and safety of our stay."
"The room was very clean and well equipped, with useful amenities such as a hairdryer, iron, kettle and microwave. The location was excellent, close to the beach, and parking was always available on-site. Although the room was on the second floor with no lift, the stairs were short and easy to climb. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay!"
"The property is well maintained and clean. There is a kitchenette where you can basic meals. It is basically attached to Port Macquarie Base Hospital, and this gave us difficulties finding the accommodation as Google Maps showed it on the opposite side of the road.
Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend the property."
"This is the 3rd time I’ve brought my family here and it’s always a wonderful stay. So easy to get around and the aqua park is awesome. Can’t wait for next years trip!"
"The property is clean and well appointed. We liked the additional space offered, with the comfortable lounge, dining and well appointed kitchen down stairs and the 2 bedrooms (we used one) and the bathroom upstairs. It’s also great to have parking next to the unit. The location in a quieter part of Port Macquarie, but close to beaches is good."
"Self-check-in made our drive down easy and stress-free. The room was exactly as pictured online, clean, cosy and comfortable. The owners were friendly and accommodating, with great local recommendations. We loved the quiet location, proximity to eateries and Port Macquarie, and would happily stay again."
