"There was no staff , can’t able to contact to manger , it was difficult to enter the property, there was no guidance"

"The room was clean beside a blood stain on one of the duvets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue as the road was being resurfaced, but the staff did tell us where the best place to park was. The breakfast was excellent, it really set us up for a day in the hills. Overall a good value room for visiting the Lakes."

"An attractive hotel ideally situated for a visit to the southern lakes."

"Excellent location, food, staff and rooms"

"Lady on reception charming"

"Friendly , helpful staff , comfortable room and decent pint and get up very early to do a breakfast for us doing the c2c"

"Very clean room.great staff and very central location.good for the price"

"Great location if you’re coming and going by train. Ask for a room “not” facing the street - mine did and even with ear plugs the traffic noise was quite loud. (Doesn’t help old school single pane windows which I suppose is common there.) Shower was also weak and stain on duvet cover was, even though small, gross. That said, location, staff and breakfast (included) were great."
