"A grand old building with a rich history - photo`s in the gallery show visits by the late Queen Prince Philip, and even Cliff Richard. Staff were extremely helpful, room was clean, bed very comfortable. Only criticism would be that the curtains are not blackouts so the midnight sun late May was a little disruptive. Murals of crazy rock climbers in the room were a reminder that the town is dedicated to sporty adventurers. The restaurant is excellent, which is fortunate as we visited just before...

"This is a beautiful, modern building that in my opinion goes well with the surrounding area of enormous natural beauty. We were lucky to get a room in a high floor with akazing views of the water and mountain range. The room itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The breakfast had a wide selection of quality food. We used the paid parking conveniently located behind the main hotel building."

No food or dining options but the Esso fuel station near by serves waffles, baked items and nice varieties of coffee for breakfast."

"Our room had the most amazing view of the fjord! Very clean and spacious. Only negative would be that there were 3 very comfortable leather chairs in the room for only 2 people so 1 chair was actually in the way and should not be there. We had access to a full kitchen and places to sit outside and admire the views. Host was very friendly."

"We liked our overnight stay here. The staff was friendly and the room had a lot of convenient offerings like a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and heated bathroom floors. Parking was a little unclear, but right on the other side of the street, and breakfast was a little light on options. Otherwise, we had a sea view and it was worth it. It had a lovely view of the fjord. "
