"Perhaps most important: the room description is inaccurate. It says there is a hob/stove in the room and there is not. Nor is there a fridge. The room was large, which was nice, but only one chair for a two-person room and only one hanger in the closet. No hooks for coats. They use perfumed detergent or dryer sheets so all linens have a strong smell. Since I'm not used to this it made it difficult for me to fall asleep. There is extensive construction going on courtyard side, and as of Jan. 2026...
"check-in when reception is closed is very difficult as staff did not give code for key safe. We got locked out after 2 days and again staff was difficult to get hold of.
There was only 1 hanger in the wardrobe , the pipe in the shower was leaking. It did get fixed quickly after complaining. All this would not happen if staff was trained properly."
"Modern & spotlessly clean with good parking. We chose the apartment style room with a small kitchen which was really useful, the room was fairly small but sufficient. location is good as the old town and harbour are only a short walk away. The hotel sits on the Swiss side of the border which is 30 metres away but these days unmanned!"
"Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Der Aufbau des Zimmers ist speziell, da das Waschbecken direkt im Schlafbereich ist und nur in einem abgetrennten Miniraum eine Toilette und die Dusche ist. Die Position des Fernseher ist nicht optimal. Für eine Nacht ok.
Frühstück ist in Ordnung.
Zu beachten ist, dass die Fahrradabstellmöglichkeiten im Hinterhof im Freien sind. Es ist kein abschließbarer Raum/Garage vorhanden."
