"First time back in many years after I used to stay there for work. Don’t remember quite so many pillows on the bed back then but if all else fails your can sleep sideways 😉. Only real gripe is that breakfast is £15! Coffee and a bacon butty was half the price and to be fair it was freshly made and very nice 😊"
"We were staying in the hotel as a stopover for night the welcome at reception was brilliant. The room was lovely and clean with a good-sized bathroom. We had dinner that evening which seemed to be excellent value (the dessert was very good). I had a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed. the breakfast in the morning was great and it seemed to be cooked to order. Overall it was a great experience and hopefully will make return visits in the future."
"The room was comfortable for a family of 4, the room was clean, but there was an awful smell on the hallway. The hotel is 20 minutes by bus to the train station, the bus is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel, so it is not that close, you need to plan in advance so you will get to the train on time. But if you plan ahead it is not that bad. Make sure you come back before 11pm so you can catch the last bus. There are not ubers or taxis around the area unless you know a local that can share a...
"Awful staff, I paid in advance and obnoxious female tried to swindle a second payment, this stopped when the obnoxious female realised I carry around a file of documents showing what I paid and when. What kind of 'hospitality' is ths? The facility should be shut down."
"My wife and I stayed over for one night, really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing setting and if you like horses then definitely come here. Very friendly and attentive staff.
We are planning to come back with our kids so they can go horse riding.

"We loved our stay at the Sweeney Motherwell. The room was both quaint and modern and perfectly clean. We were so happy that the room came with a kitchenette with a little fridge. The location was ideal for us – we will definitely stay again next year. Helpful tip: parking in the side lot is much easier than parking in the front lot ;)"
