"The hotel is across the main train station, so it is very convenient for us. However that also makes it extremely noisy. Don’t expect a pleasant sleep. The rooms are tiny (we stayed there twice.) You will struggle with any luggage size larger than a cabin overhead carryon. The hotel has an excellent breakfast. There is a great traditional beer hall style restaurant nearby. We went there twice. We didn’t find much to see in the neighborhood, but we didn’t have time to walk to explore the lakes...
"We booked the hotel for charging station for electric car. Out of 6 charging station none of them was working and when we reported this in the morning to reception they behaved as it is our fault rhat we do not know how to use it. our Room was nice and bed was comfortable, however stinked horribly and smell did not disappear till we were there. Breakfast was very poor."
"Grossartig ist im Hotel am Schloss immer das Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, so ist Teppichboden heute eigentlich kein Standard mehr und der Fön im Badezimmer gehört direkt ins Museum. Parken in de3 Nähe möglich ohne dass man die Garage nutzen muss"

"Hotel Marienthal provided a functional stay, but there were several drawbacks that kept it from being a better experience.
The room was clean and served its purpose, but the beds were not particularly comfortable, and the pillows were so thin that they were almost non-existent. We were also only given one room key card, which was inconvenient for a family traveling together.
One thing to be aware of is that the reception desk closes at 6:30 PM. After that, there is essentially no one available...
"Wir waren zwei Tage im diesem Hotel mit 2 Erwachsenen und ein Kind 10 Jahre alt die Zimmer sind sehr sauber das Bad anscheinend neu Renoviert wird waren sehr zufrieden.
Die Lage ist gut wird sind immer mit der S -Bahn gefahren war nicht so stressig wie mit dem Auto , der Bahnhof ist ca. 20 Minuten entfernt zu Fuß.
Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und wird immer neu befüllt alles ausreichend und lecker.
Personen sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Wenn ich nochmal nach Hamburg fahren dann würde ich wieder...
"Zimmer war einfach und akzeptabel sauber. Frühstück ausreichend und gut. Komfort wie Kühlschrank oder Minibar nicht vorhanden. Ebenso kein Getränkeautomat an einer öffentlich Stelle. Keine 24 h Abdeckung der Rezeption und damit kein "Barservice" durchgehend möglich."
