"Very nice cozy and very friendly staff"

"Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

On arrival nice greeting shown to room which was very cold and musty smelling constant dog barking out the back after one hour we asked to change rooms this was no problem. "The views from this hotel are beautiful. The location is very hard to find, in spite of signage, which had faded from the sun. Google Maps does not take you directly to the hotel, instead it has you driving anywhere but to the hotel. The hotel staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The dinner was a buffet, while not delicious, it was sustenance. However, the cleaning staff and staff in the restaurant were very kind and accommodating."

"Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. "

"Overall I am quite happy with my stay. Read about the water pressure problem in the reviews and was a little apprehensive at first. Turns out the water pressure was very good, at least in the 2 rooms my and my friend were staying in. Some room for improvement in the administration but I'm sure it will be better the next time I visit the hotel. I'll likely stay again when I come to the area again. "
