Let down by poor evening meal (frozen or very poo cuts of tuna) and some staff members being just off with you, would say even rude. Shame has lots of potential. "I like the convenience of the location of the hotel, the Plumbing needs to be documented by the Maids, therefore problems could be addressed before rooms are assigned to travellers. Light fixtures need cleanings, swarm of light yellow bugs crawling thru gap between the doors ultimately finding their way all over the kitchen counter is scary and unexceptable. I love Dover beach hotel, been a customer over 10 years."

"The INN is tucked away on a side street directly across from the Boardwalk, beach and the sea. It backs up to a Mall (that you cannot see from the property) with lots of shops & some good eateries, and despite its proximity to the Boardwalk, beach & mall, it has a nice setting. It also has a very good pool & breakfast/lunch options. The rooms are spacious & although the property is old, it is bright and clean; lots of closet space. A really good value for the $$. "This was my first stay in the WI and I enjoyed it. Moving on a resort in Antigua made me appreciate the Rostrevor was a little shabby and is need of upgrade. But the staff are lovely and will help in anyway they can. It is not a hotel for a romantic getaway but works as a nice base. The hotel has a beach the size of a handkerchief and I walked a few minutes to Dover beach. I enjoyed my time here but didn’t appreciate it’s limits until I stayed at another hotel."

"Checking in was easy and the room they gave me was private and had its own door to the outside. It’s near the bus stop that takes you along the beach and to town and also near the Lawrence Gap which has a lot of restaurants and clubs "

"The staff was friendly, and the size of the resort was small so there were never any lines or a lot of people around. We could always get a chair by the pool or beach when we wanted one. There was only one bar (pool bar) and the dining was extremely limited for dinner. There was the main dinner buffet which the food was not very good, and then we could make a dinner reservation at their second floor dining rooma nd ordered ala carte one night. "Staff were extremely attentive and helped organise anything we wanted to do, allowing us to fully relax on our vacation. Room and resort in general were clean and very well kept. Pool area is also right next to a beach, where you can even snorkel to see sea turtles. Overall a wonderful place and wonderful people running it."

"The biggest take away from the property was there was really no hot water for the showers either it was scorching or there was no hot water and when there was hot water, it only lasted for about two minutes. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, the biggest issue with this was we spent a lot of time in the ocean so when it came time to washing the salt and the outside elements off of us, it was very inconvenient considering I had a two bad two bath apartment, so none of us really...

"This was our fourth stay at this property. We like it very much. Staff are lovely. The restaurant has improved since our last stay. We had breakfast and it was very good. They have repaired the elevator which is great. The grounds look like they need some TLC but they are still in a good condition and lovely to relax in.
