"The staff were all exceptionally friendly and very helpful…. We went ‘off piste’ re the breakfast menu and this was not only accommodated with ease, but wonderfully cooked too. Bravo the chef 😘. The bed was comfy and spacious. The showers, hot and powerful. The only downside was that the room was slightly chilly and the plug in radiator did not work enough to warm it up….. The standard of cleanliness could have been better, but maybe that is determined by the age of the property….. We stayed 2 nights and had an upgrade of room for a very reasonable fee…."

"Property was clean and presentable with parking clearly marked. Shame about lack of EV charging. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room light, airy with windows that open! Very clean and the bed comfortable. Would have liked bottled water, good job I brought some with me. Good choice of breakfast with the hot choice freshly cooked. Hoping to go back to use the leisure facilities."

"The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. Bed comfortable, duvet thick but airy which was the perfect combo. Outside space from the room was well presents and clean. No bad smell and easy check in. Only thing I would critique is we couldn’t open window wide enough for our personal choice and could do with curtains as well blinds as that morning sun hit hard. But as whole I would absolutely recommend and return for a visit. Great stay."

"The listing of this place is false as it states that there is self parking at the property it’s actually street parking which will cost you another £20 on top of your stay i picked this place as it had free parking we could have stayed at the premier inn which was a lot cheaper to stay at and also pay for street parking I didn’t want to leave my car out on the street as I have had damage done over the years of staying in places like this before ends up me paying for damage as well on top of my stay they need to change their listing to pay street parking not advertised like this and when I turned up they also said you need to call us to arrange parking don’t state this on the advertising so not happy to be told there isn’t any room to park fully booked well I found their car park to the rear and all it had in there was 1 car so they could have put us in and saved the £20 but no that didn’t happen won’t be going back "
