"We stayed at this place for 5 nights. The place (rooms , bathroom etc) were clean and tidy. The breakfast was rich and the owner asked if we wanted that or that. He was a very nice and kind person. It was peaceful there and we could sleep good. It was easy to find this place and watch the area. There are 2 wonderful lakes rather near the place."

"I loved this location because it wasn’t in the busy area like lake Bled or lake Bohinj. Nice, quiet area for hiking and lots of cycling paths. There is no air conditioning but we asked for a fan and that really helped. It was really hot when we were there. The shower had water pressure issues and kept changing temperature as I was showering. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The decor is definitely retro but I felt it worked for this place.

"1. Check-in: terrible. Was left outside the hotel for 2 hours with no one answering messages, texts or phone calls. In the end, contacted hotels.com who were thankfully able to resolve. Would have stayed somewhere else but everywhere near was full.
2. When I got into my room there were no towels, no shower gel or soap (only shampoo), almost no toilet paper and a wasp nest outside the only window in the hot room, so I couldn’t open the window to let in some fresh air.

"The hosts live at the property so the check in was straightforward. The private kitchen had a good fridge, four burners and a microwave. The property is within easy walking distance from the bus stop. There is only one stop in the town. You can take the same bus farther along to Lake Bohinj for about 2€.
