"This was out 3rd stay at Westlodge: 2014, 2019 and 2024. We keep coming back due to its quality. It's obviously under new management since our last visit. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Breakfast was lovely and of good quality. If I could give 4.5 I would. I just feel the standard has slipped since our last visit. "The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"We had the cottage closest to the dam. It was absolutely perfect, with the most amazing sunrise view from our bed, which the owner told us about otherwise we would have slept through it. Such a tranquil setting, wish we had more nights than our 2 nights, so we could have had more chill time at the property. Ideal base to explore attractions in surrounding area. "

"Our stay at Sabi star chalets not what we expected.The toilets and bathrooms need upgrading.Towels not changed everyday. Otherwise clean and everything else we needed was there. Rooms are not soundproof.Conversations from adjoining chalet can be heard. There was a couple next door that argued and fought the entire night.Room 18.My family was in room 17 and hadnt slept entire night. Altho security did respond when called the noise carried on.Fortunately thay left next day. Need to commend...

"Was under the impression there would be internet in the rooms and my account was charged twice while i am still waiting for a refund a week later. Besides that. Peaceful place. "

"We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"The entire place gave off unsafe vibes.dog poo’s on lawn.signs saying no music whilst music blaring!Bar and restaurant shut-owner barged into room after check in with no permission looking for key.And nothing was like the pictures.We didnt stay."

"This place is just average. Not a lot to talk about. Hotel condition is just so-so. It says 24 hour service. And it says staff will be on-site from 5AM. But when I tried to leave property at about 5:40AM, the gate was locked. I have to wait for some time and someone came to unlock the gate. It is a budget hotel. "
