Hotel Pisa Tower
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived in the evening and got a taxi from the airport (had to wait at the rank for 5 mins for one to arrive). The receptionist was friendly and informative, although it was late and the end of his shift, he took time to explain everything to us. We had a family room for 4 at the top, which was very spacious, if a bit dated. Very steep steps to reach it but that was no problem for us. The location is perfect, the square in front had a gelateria that was open late so after dropping our bags we went straight out to see the floodlit tower with a gelato. There is no breakfast at the hotel but the cafe opposite was lovely with lots of options. We could leave our bags in the hotel storage after check out the next day to go exploring. The old part of the city is small so you can walk everywhere but the bus stop to the station was right next to the hotel so convenient if you're catching the train and have luggage. We only stayed one night and for us the location, kindness of the staff and air conditioning made this hotel a great choice."
