"Everything was good except for the check in. Arrived around 6 15pm, reception was closed (said it will be open). Had to call staff and was instructed to just open the room and get in. The room was locked. There was no key to enter. After calling again staff came in and opened the door and asked me to come to the reception to check in. After I checked in went back to the room to find that there was no key inside, as informed. Had to go back to the reception to get the key.It was a hectic process....

"I've stayed here a few times now and its a great motel, the owners/managers are really doing a great job. Unfortunately this time i landed myself a room that absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke, being a non-smoker it was quite off putting. Would stay here again but definitely ask for a non-smoking room."

"The sink/basin in the washroom was really small and the water was splitting all over on the bathroom floor. Rooms were partially cleaned there was dust and hairs all over."

"Great facilities. Parking right outside your door. Home from home. Main thing the owner went out of his way to offer me a pickup when he heard why I came to Bairnsdale. I thought how gracious and kind. He didn't have too. Kind soul"
