"Hotel room is modern and clean. Room had all amenities we needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is just next to the train station and an easy walk to shops and eating places. It also close to Cardiff castle."
"When I arrived at 2:30 PM, hoping to check in or early or leave my bags, there was no one at the front desk. I called the indicated number. The person reminded me that check-in was at three and that he would come to the desk only at that time. He eventually showed up at 3:30, quite unapologetically, and checked in me and other waiting guests. At the hotel, most of the time, there is no one at the front desk, even though the front door is open onto a busy street.
The room was of a reasonable...
"EasyHotel Cardiff provided a clean, secure stay with exceptionally helpful staff. My partner and I stayed so that I could run the Cardiff Half Marathon, the location was ideal. As the race passes directly by the hotel, it offered an excellent viewing point for supporters. The staff went above and beyond by providing my partner with coffee and even tracking my progress on the race app to ensure he didn’t miss me.
Travelling by train, we found the hotel conveniently located just a short walk from...
"Hotel was fairly clean and tidy, under the beds had not been cleaned in quite some time and the bathroom was in need of a good deep clean as there was mould in the corner of the shower and dust on top of the shampoo and shower gel.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
Room was very comfortable."
"The staff are really lovely and helpful. The lady at the reception was very kind to me and helped me when there was an issue with the booking as Expedia had not sent the booking through properly and she still managed to find me a room. Second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again ❤️"
"Room was clean and modern and good size for one person……wonderful location close to Cardiff castle and city centre….. beautiful big park close by…..excellent location with the National Express depot 5 minutes away for transfers to London airports or Swansea….
Pub itself and surround on the premises were run down and dated….. needed some money spent to tidy it up…."
"Would have been 5 stars but breakfast let it down. You have to go over the main road for it which isn’t ideal. Also we had to wait 50 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. In the establishments defence it was a car rally day and they were frantically busy. But as we wanted to get on our way it was frustrating."
"The room had bed bugs. The receptionist was extremely nice and helped us with a refund. The rooms are decent for a one to two night stay and looked clean. When we removed the sheets, they were stained with a brownish color and bed bugs starting crawling from the carpet. Nice staff but the amenities were not clean. They tried to accommodate us to another room but the other beds were also stained and had a humid smell."
"The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support."
"It's a cute property. It is definitely a little dated but the location and the vibe makes up for it.
I would only recommend to absolutely not open the windows in the evenings because an army of moquitoes will immediately launch itself in your space. It may also be wise to skip it in the summers as there is no AC and the rooms can feel a bit stuffy. Other than that, excellent staff, well maintained space and nothing beats the views."
