"Be great to have a dryer since we went when it was cold and the clothes despite being left outside did not dry. Washing machine did fail too but no owners fault. Be great to have more than 4 of everything but was very neat and tidy and in good condition and as described."
"John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!"
"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay.

"Our host was so helpful when we found out our ferry had been cancelled. He gave us numbers to call and updates on weather and situation in general. The ferry booking lady was also very helpful and allowed us to make a booking by phone as soon as the ferries were running on the day itself! A lot of online info isn't accurate. We could have flown in and hired a car on the island as an alternative. We learnt that from our host. Contact the host before your trip. They can give you all the details....
"The whole unit was kept clean and everything needed for kitchen use is available- from whipping up dishes to baking muffins. Quality paper towels and toilet rolls are provided! To find a garden hose to wash our car at the end of our trip was a pleasant surprise.
Hot water is limited to a tank a day. We did experience a short supply on our second night and 2/5 family members couldn’t shower with the cold water on a cold day. The hot water came back the next morning.
