"A hip hotel - the checking desk is at a bar, and there is no palatial lobby to suggest this is anything other than a convenient box of rooms. Mine was efficiently laid out, if small, a standard by urban hotel standards. Staff was cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful."

Nice Boardwalk to enjoy for miles with great restaurants spots and lots to discover on that side of town... From Check In to Out, great supportive Management. Rui even went out of his way to print maps to ease my concerns with driving for the first time to a far away destination in the South of Portugal! I will choose the House Boat again over a stay in a hotel next time in Lisboa :)"

"We had an excellent stay here a few years ago so didn’t hesitate to book the Rio Art Hotel on our next stay. We were traveling for my birthday and they went out of their way to make me feel special. This was especially heartwarming as our luggage was missing and we were having to deal with getting the necessities. The front desk is always providing a warm greeting, useful recommendations, and asking if there is anything they can do to make the stay even better. The rooms are larger than most...

"Very clean , great rain shower and comfortable bed and 4 pillows of good quality for my taste , foam moldable.. adustable and fiber fill. Everything was excellent and the breakfast included was very good, eggs toast , beans , chorizo, fresh fruit and whole wheat/ white breads. Cereal or muesli with Hot milk (in the coffee maker). Honey for tea or coffee. Central location ... near Mcdonalds if you like their food (...not me) "

We had to contact the property directly multiple times to get the access code to the property and this was not given to us until after 5pm.
