"More akin to a Guest House, this small hotel offers a superb location for a relaxing break with beautiful, empty, sandy beach just a few meters away. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Rooms vary but ours was air conditioned; basic but comfortable, this is not 4* accommodation but there again, you are not paying 4* rates. Free WiFi is provided but does come and go and is never high speed so don't expect to be streaming your favorite TV shows. Food is good value and we enjoyed everything...

"Beautiful Geoffrey Bowa- designed boutique hotel set in a beautifully tended garden. This is our second stay & it didnt disappoint. The staff remembered us after 4 years! Very good service, excellent breakfasts & evening meal. There is a train line running along the bottom of the garden and the train clanks along it every hour or so. We loved the quirkiness of it. "We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala. This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. "
