"If you’re here for the turtles, this is THE place. We were able to see little ones right on the beach! However, did not care for the food or room very much. Pamphlets would have been useful for the lodge, so we could better explore the grounds and surrounding area. There is no concierge and it takes them a bit long to respond to your questions via WhatsApp."
"This hotel is a good deal for the price, but it is definitely a lower end place. The room was a good size, but again, worn around the edges. The food was not very good."
"Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good.
The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty.
Nice hammocks to relax in.
The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us"
"The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing!
Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing.
3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "
"Wonderful hotel. Knowledgable guides, friendly staff and great food. Pick up from San Jose and transport to Manatus was seamless . Cannot recommend it highly enough "
"I recommend that if you want to stay at Miss Marian‘s cabins, I would only stay for about a week. People that own it are very nice and they definitely want to help. So I do recommend it."
"Great place to stay and explore this exotic corner of Costa Rica. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff that helped us with tricky rescheduling of domestic flights and other travelling tips and tricks about how to get around in the country. "
