"It was busy as they had a big group of bikers staying and had a darts competition that night.. taking place..struggled to park tho it was late at night staff came out helped me find somewhere to park.. good price that including anything on menu for breakfast.. we had a room that had massive bathroom and two double beds and sofa with tv would definitely stay again. No noise as on high street"
"What a beautiful place in s beautiful location
The room and hotel was absolutely stunning clean and new
The stuff were lovely so helpful
The only negative it was super hot on room but we opened windows for fresh air
Breakfast was wonderful so nice a lovely place to stay a grm in the valley"
"Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...
"This would be a reasonable budget option if not for the mattresses. The springs were completely shot and either very old or very cheap. Everything else was decent if they could manage that simple fix"
"We really enjoyed the stay. The owner, Richard was lovely and friendly. It’s an old guesthouse, but it is part of its charm, and the room was kept clean. We stayed in a twin room, we wished that there had been a bedside ramp, but it’s not the end of the world. The only thing that we will miss would be there is no fridge if we visit in warmer days. The shared dining room was very helpful, and packed meals were a bonus. It was wonderful overall, great place and great location for our purpose. The...
"I travelled with my 2 year old daughter.
The bedding was absolutely filthy. Hairs, stains of unknown bodily fluids, some looked very much like blood. I’m not entirely sure they had actually been changed after the last occupants of the room left as it didn’t smell great. The bedding was changed after I asked. The rooms are In serious need of renovation. Very outdated, damaged, worn, unpleasant to be in and had a musty old smell to them. Carpet damage in places. Bedside lamp had old blood on....
"Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee.
If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!"
"An amazing place in such a beautiful setting. Great walks right out the door, easy trip to town. I'd STRONGLY recommend getting their breakfast - you won't need lunch. Massive portions and delicious. The owners are super friendly and really make you feel at home. If you have a big vehicle I'd suggest street parking (there is lots) as the parking is tight, but totally fine for small(ish) cars. A wonderful experience."
"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. It was more a guest room than an apartment with her being next to us. We couldn't relax thinking tv might be to loud, or music not that we have it on loud but we was still worried. Also could do with sweeping brush and hoover...
