"Excellently located hotel right in the middle of Gijon. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy reach. However the hotel is on a pedestrianised area so it's nice and quiet. My room was very good and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly when needed. There was a good selection at breakfast. Overall a good place to stay. My only observation was that the name "Santa Rosa" wasn't very prominent outside and it could do with a bigger clearer sign instead on the "blues" name. "

"This hotel was the best choice we took to stay in Oviedo. Half a block from the central park and all things around. Worthy for the price even despite its location on the center of the city. The staff was marvelous, very friendly, starting with the reception people, giving you the sensation that you are at home. We want to mention specially Mauricio for his attention and excellent service during the breakfasts. He tried to do all for you, and was pending on what you need all the time. Thanks...

My only remark would be that, whilst it did not concern us too much that our room on the top floor had only rooflights, nevertheless I believe that this should have been made clear at the time of booking. I f you are thinking of quick trips by car down to the village for sustenance forget it, but there are alternatives.. "

"Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con. "
