"This may not be a concern for everyone, but coming from a cooler climate, an air conditioned room for sleeping is highly desired. The air conditioning in our room was barely detectable. The rooms were quite spartan and a little disappointing considering what the room shown when we booked looked like, but the hotel has minimalist decor and we were just there to sleep and shower. Location was convenient and rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast was nice."

"We were given a twin room despite booking a double room, we were too tired to question because of the language barrier. The television downstairs was on constantly, even when no one was watching it, and was very loud, we could hear it in our room with the door closed. The bed linen was dirty and the floors were filthy underneath the beds, the furniture provided was cheap and falling to pieces. The female owner was very kind and brought us nibbles while we were playing cards. We communicated...

"Overall the Hotel is great. Needs some updating but nothing that would stop me from rebooking on my next visit. Staff is super friendly, accommodating and informative. Excellent location to visit old town and sites. Lots of restaurant option with most in walkable distance."

"The Hostel is in the middle of nowhere and seems to be in the centre of a massive quarry. The room was okay apart from the toilet not fixed down the shower head was loose so it sprayed water over the shower cubicle, the tap in the sink was loose. and the noise from the other guests late at night was terrible, this part was not the hotels fault. on my last night the Restaurant wasn't open with no food for at least 40klm. Not the best experience. "

"Came to Zaragoza for the churches and the history. The Hotel de Pilar was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. My city view room was the best part! Staff were polite and accommodating, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Really great experience overall."
