"Very convenient with parking and the room was comfy. The only small problem is that the ac was not cooling correctly and the fan seemed to be the same speed all the time regardless of changing the speed."
"The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent, although a bit pricey, but that’s Switzerland. The included buffet breakfast was very good."
"The hotel is up a single lane, switchback road, which makes it very nice view, but don't bring a trailer.
Wifi only works in the dining room.
Breakfast was at 8 which is quite late for many travelers who want to get on with their Day..
Limited menu in the dining room, but the alternative is a 20 minute drive to Disentis.
Very nice stay, staff was pleasant. The view of the town across the valley is like a postcard"
"Nettes, rustikales Zimmer. Aber...!
Kompliziertes self-checkin.
Ruhige Lage, trotz Strassenanbindung - wenig Verkehr, guter Schallschutz (Fenster)."
"In theory this is a fantastic place. Logistically it is a nightmare. If you rent a car there is scarce parking if any and if you take public transit, your walk uphill is at least 15 minutes. The closest store of any kind is kilometers away. There are not screens on the windows and there are many bugs and critters so sleeping with the windows open is not possible. The summer heat makes it unbearable to sleep anywhere but the ground floor kitchen. So we slept on foam mats in the kitchen. There is...
"Great location near the train station. Excellent food especially for a small town like Airolo. Convenient to the trains and also for a bus to visit Sasso San Gottardo."
