"This hotel was perfect for my needs- a quick, no-frills place to stay before a bike adventure. The location is perfect, right across the street from bike rental and ferry. A tasty, traditional breakfast in the morning too!"

"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port. There were several restaurants but midweek many were closed. We did enjoy dinner at a place specializing in eel tempura which was very good, and there is a cafe a few steps away that makes excellent coffee. "

"The place is OLD, in poor conditions, stuck in 1970s badly in need of a renovation to bring it up to today' standards. Do not stay there unless you had to like I did - emergency! "
