"Room was pathetic, so much noisy as you can hear people walking and talking passing by . Bathroom was terrible infrastructure. Also room carpet was horrendous and terrible smelling , room has that stink . All night there were noises from ceiling screeching sounds as if people are walking and dabbing the floor . Only thing it was good was the staff ! It wasn’t there fault anyway but were helpful in possible ways"

"Hotel looking very tired. 3 black bin bags and a broken cup remained in the corridor for 2 days and was still there when I left. Booked a double room but was given one with 3 beds, window didn’t open. Nowhere to put any wash bags etc in the bathroom. Bed was comfy and food was ok. Be aware if you book to stay via a third party app like Expedia, the hotel will charge you £10 per night to park in the car park"

"The booking clerk was quite brusque and was unable to give any information about activities in the area. This was unsurprising, as the same man was doing the bar, reception and taking and serving food orders on our first night - no sign of anyone else! The room had a good view of the lovely looking garden with picnic tables and view of River Dee. Unfortunately, it remained padlocked throughout our stay. The room was a good size with twin beds, but laid out so that you had to crane your neck...
