"This is an older property and while older properties can have plenty of character when properly maintained, this was not the case here. The level of grime throughout the property made our stay genuinely uncomfortable. Cleanliness is the absolute minimum expectation for any hotel, regardless of age and price point. I cannot even put into words how difficult it was to relax and fall asleep knowing how filthy my surroundings were. The walls, door handles and light switches must never be cleaned....

"I’ve stayed here a few times over the years. It never disappoints. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming. The entire property is very pet friendly which I very much appreciate traveling for dog shows. The accommodation were just wonderful I chose a tiny house on the water front this time. It was so relaxing and calming. Exactly what I was in need of it definitely made it hard to leave. Only thing I could recommend would be to remember to bring a towel for your pup. I had forgotten so...

"We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again."

"This place was great there were sheep goats and a couple of alpaca it's clean modern but still holds the charm of the era it was built and the hosts on the property arranged for our 2 girls to help bottle feed some of the animals you go to sleep at night it's quiet and when you wake up you hear the sheep talking amazing place wish I could live there full time"
