"An unbelievably pleasant stay. Derg Arms was a half way stop for me as I was traveling between Sligo and the north coast of Ireland. For a really good nightly rate i got a well maintained, clean room and a fantastic free breakfast in the morning
The entire staff and owner were beyond accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling."

"Name has changed to Canavan’s, (an Ireland icon in soccer) Staff was extremely helpful with local information. Room was big, It is a small, very rural community, and they were very much a part of that community. The food in the restaurant was great, Room was nice. Housekeeping was very helpful. Felt very much like a family. Very reasonably priced that included breakfast. "

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and beds and bedding very comfortable with lots of natural light and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The country kitchen is lovely and spacious and very well kitted out. Kate had very kindly left us delicious home baked scones, butter, milk and even some jam. Generous cupboard basics provided too including teas, coffee, s&p, oil etc. Kate and...
