"It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room. We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price."

"My room was disappointing. The en-suite was smelly and the windowless room had no functional ventilation fan. It did not help that the main room window could not be opened. Overhead lighting in the en-suite was hanging loose from the ceiling and the flooring around the (recently?) replaced sink had not been replaced and didn't fit. The bed was OK but something in the linen caused throat irritation which prevented much sleep and the TV was so pixellated it was useless. Hot drink supplies were...

"Almost a small self contained flat with living room, kitchenette and en-suite, friendly family owned and run in a quiet hamlet in the countryside. Generous portions of good food and a popular cozy bar. Great value for money. A good base for exploring the area."
