"location is prime. Staff was not all rude but they were not pleasant as well, we felt some resistance in request we made. We were charged for parking in the hotel’s own parking lot, go figure. It seems they are going through a remodeling, hallways have new flooring but apts have old carpet. Blinds were broken, beds are small. Besides it all we were right at the beach and all units looks towards the ocean, that was nice"

"The Riverview Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are small, but cozy and nicely decorated, vintage style. Right next door is The Grille at Riverview. It is a fabulous restaurant with an intracoastal water view and very good service and food. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have super live bands playing. We had so much fun!!"

"We were looking for a place to spend the night near a venue and found this place. What a find! The inn was neat, clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was a treat. The Inn is in the heart of New Smyrna Beach. You can walk almost anywhere you want to go. Highly recommend for a night, a long weekend or a vacation. "

"Had a wonderful time at New Smyrna Waves. Our unit was clean and perfect for our girls' weekend. We felt safe and were able to walk to a restaurant right near us or take a 10 minute drive to many other restaurants. The pool was awesome (so clean for being right on the beach!). "First of all the first day was not good. Someone prior smoked in our non smoking condo. My girl friend has COPD. So you can just use your imagination how I felt. After talking to the house keeper she tried to get the smell out but was not able too. We went to get some driver to limit the strong smell. We had to open all the doors and windows to air out the place. But I would like to add that the house keeper helped us out the whole time we were there. "The property was very nice and we loved the condo itself and also the grounds were very nice for taking walks. We felt safe there as well. The condo was freshly remodeled and really was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. We were there in Jan. so didn't go to the beach so can't comment on supplies for the beach but we did walk to the beach and it was fairly close (not a bad walk at all).
