"Very good place to stay for a quick business trip"

"Location and grounds were lovely. Room was advertised as the "Stables Suite", but it was very small. We had to go outside and into another locked room to access our kitchenette. Front desk staff was very dry and not welcoming. She did not seem to like her job. Breakfast started 45 minutes after advertised. Listing and signage say "breakfast, lunch and dinner", but they only serve breakfast. Bed was very old and creaky. Lots of potential. Needs TLC."

"Our stay at the Old Mushroom Farm was fantastic. The converted mushroom house into an apartment is awesome and very comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone wishing to explore the Howick/Karkloof area."

"Very friendly staff and family-friendly environment "

"Clean room good bed unfortunately we were in a room opposite reception and loud noises from other guests kept us awake"

"Cleanliness , nice staff Didn't like the cats roaming around And monkeys"

"Friendly staff and good breakfast."

"The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking. The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch."

"Check in was a problem they didn't know about my stay.... I had to email booking confirmation. Shower room is too tiny, only one bath towel. Air-conditioner not working... Breakfast setting is a joke 😭😭 juice is warm, their quality of is really disappointing.... The noise.... The pool area is too close to the room I was in and the conference room oh my word the noise from the people using these facilities, the sheets and towels are not changed. In totality I regretted ny choice of...

"Great bed and breakfast. Loved the room, decor, helpful staff and the overall estate itself."
