"The facility is well laid-out with an open check-in, dining and sundry space. It looks like you’re checking into an airy Wawa. In fact, I walked past the check-in, thinking it was the store section. Off the lobby is a small fitness room and laundry. On the other side is the pool. The smell of chlorine was powerful on the third floor, quite a distance from the pool. "The local contact person was very nice, we had a little hiccup at check-in which they resolved immediately. The place was clean, well-stocked and welcoming. Since the weather wasn't great while we were there, it was nice having a garage to park in. We stayed for a weekend to visit Jim Thorpe and the drive from there to Jim Thorpe was only 16 minutes. "My husband and I came to get away from our busy lives and enjoy our honeymoon. Unfortunately we were sick most of the time, but Quail Hollow provided us a nice and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I would however change some things. The furniture is a little out of date, not very comfortable (bed&couch). It was nice to have a gym but it was very limited and rundown, but we were grateful to have something for exercise. The thermostat was super wonky...we woke up in horrible hot flashes every night....
