"There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open.
It was too expensive as well for what we received. We weren’t even advised if breakfast until we asked about it and then she asked us what time did we want to book it for.
And they charge 10 pound for parking when it is free until 9am...

Room we stayed in was a box room, absolutely tiny, and the toilet/shower room was not a full arms width from side to side, and for a big lad that was most uncomfortable.
The window in our room opened about an inch then fell back closed again, so no air was able to get in or out of a stiflingly hot room.
We noticed other rooms did have windows that opened a lot, note to self!!!

It was a lovely stay, the bed was comfy we had a great night's sleep and Kath's breakfast was so good, she offers fruit, yogurt, cereal and a really good cooked selection.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they assisted me with my luggage up to my room and mentioned that they would also help at check out if given a heads-up!
