"This is a lovely venue and a beautiful town. We had two nights here. The first was in a large family room in the basement, which was a little bit musty. But it was spacious and I appreciated that. The next night we moved upstairs to two large rooms with en suite. They were much more comfortable and lovely views. The breakfast was very nice and generous. The staff were very helpful."
"Sorry to say, this was my least favorite hotel in Sri Lanka (and the most expensive). The vibes were just weird, and the room did not have a secure lock - unsettling for me as a female solo traveler. It's very loud in the halls (no noise insulation), and dogs will bark outside of your first floor room middle of the night. I probably slept for 2 hours and couldn't wait to leave. "Few things were super impressive as follows:
1) All the staffs were so helpful, welcoming and always there for us when we needed.
2) If you prefer something that gives you a traditional vibes apart from a concrete high rise building this place is highly recommended.
3) The entire place was neat and clean along with worthy prices.
Besides these nothing was found by me which is problematic or annoying.

"The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town.
The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. "
