"We stayed for 5 nights. Generally the stay was good but the hotel was a let down a little by the cleanliness of the rooms and that it felt a little tired. Service was good and any issues we had (noisy room and broken bathroom door) were sorted quickly enough. Wifi only worked close to the common areas in the hotel, our rooms were too far away. "

"Why House is a wonderful place to stay in Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful oasis of calm - with a very warm welcome from Henrietta and all the staff and a beautiful setting. Our room was fantastic, perfect for our family with its upstairs area for the kids and beautiful mast bedroom and bathroom. The pool is a fantastic place to relax and swim - and when they switch on the lights at night it's truly magical. We had great food and they staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful in helping us...

"Calm stay in unawatuna not in the popular street. The hotel is renovated, small boutique hotel, breakfast tasty we had avocado and poached eggs you can choose what you want. There's AC which is good in srilanka but unfortunately no fridge in the room"

"This hotel was difficult to find and the owners did not answer calls for directions. Upon arrival there was much confusion about my booking and my request to upgrade to an air conditioned room took about 45minutes of phone calls. When I did get to the room there was a live rat in the toilet. No apologies for this or follow up. Would not recommebd"
