"The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and had plenty of space. The hot tubs were nice as well. For the cost though it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. There was also no rubbish bin in the room itself and no body wash in the shower (but two lots of shampoo). There is no electric kettle either but you can use the coffee machine to boil water. "

"One night stay with our friends, we stayed in cabin 11 newly renovated and it was very nice, clean and all amenities. Each of us had a bedroom and very comfy. Lounge living area good size for four adults. There is a outdoor patio but to cold for us to sit outside. They had black out curtains which was great, first place on our trip that actually had them and thought of the comfort of their guests. Breakfast included and location quiet. Wifi nice and strong."

"This property is very remote but a great option to break up a long drive between Myvatn and the east coast towns. Lots of different buildings for overnighters with a restaurant on site. Beautiful scenery and so peaceful. "

The owners went out of their way to answer all my questions about their sheep farm, the cost of energy, and more. Very welcoming and friendly people. "

"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights...

"Beautiful little cabin with everything we needed. Lovely view and very central to the area. It gets hot in the summer and if there is no wind I would be a bit worried about the bugs, but because it was windy they left us alone with the windows open. I’d recommend a screen window or door to aid this. Also the door to the bathroom needs a new sliding rail or something. Had to practically lift it to move."
